Write for us
We welcome pitches that bring a distinct, well-framed perspective to casino culture and its public representation. Send proposals through the Contact page; a short, specific idea is more useful than a finished piece sent without context.
Ideas with a clear focus
We are interested in close readings of language and imagery, accessible pieces on history, and thoughtful explorations of how casino stories relate to place and public life. A strong pitch identifies its central question, the reader it serves, and what makes the angle distinct from familiar casino spectacle.
A useful proposal
Include a working title, a short summary, the likely shape of the piece, and any sources or permissions it would require. Explain which claims you can support and where you would draw the line between evidence and interpretation. We do not seek promotional copy, gambling strategies, invented local colour, or unsupported claims about real people and venues.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your pitch in the message. Please send an idea rather than unpublished material that must be returned or kept confidential. A proposal is not a promise of publication, and any agreed terms will be discussed before work begins.
